The red string is prevalent in many South East Asian countries and is a symbol of protection and good luck. The Japanese consider it a string of fate or destiny, and in Hinduism, they consider it a symbol of purity, and generosity and is often given in temples. Buddhists believe the red string connects all who wears them and helps spread compassion and peace in the community towards the world.
